good dieting habits

What is a good way to loose?
I have a friend who needs help with her dieting habits. she doesnt want to do six-inches or sit-ups. i really love her and dont like her saying these negetive things about herself. im confused, but dont want to give up..what should i do?
To start… she should start watching what she eats, not too many chocolate, ice cream, sweets, fast foods or junk foods. Second tell her to create an exercise plan that suites her schedule… and that she should be working out minimum of 3 days a week in order to loose weight. A simple exercise plan that many people go with is the following:
Mon- walk, jog, or run for 20 min.
Tues- rest
Wed- walk, jog or run for 20 min.
Thurs- rest
Fri- walk, jog or run for 20 min.
Sat- rest
Sun- rest
